Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao (BBBP)Scheme Certain instructions Logo and Tagline
Government of India launched Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao (BBBP) Scheme to empower the girl child and enable her education and to address the issue of decline in Child Sex Ratio (CSR) through a mass campaign across the Country targeted at changing societal mindset and creating awareness about the criticality of the issue, focused intervention and multi-sectoral action in the districts with low CSR.
In this connection, the Secretary, Ministry of Women & Child Development, Govt.of India, New Delhi, in his letter cited, has stated that the Beti Bacho Beti Padhao (BBBP) programme aims to ensure gender equality and empower our girls by combating deep rooted socio-cultural biases and gender discrimination over a life cycle continuum. Achieving the objective of the scheme is the collective responsibility of the Government and public alike.
Further, the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) scheme is in 5th year of its implementation on ground. During past give year and coordinated efforts undertaken at National, State and Distr. have resulted in placing this issue in the public discourse. A sustained apj. 2/5 represent collective determination of the Government is imperative to ours,— objectives of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao. He has requested to indicate the commitment of the State Government towards BBBP.
All the Departments of Secretariat and all the Heads of the Departments (HoDs)/ Corporations/ Commissions under the administrative control of this Department are therefore, requested to issue necessary instructions to the concerned to include the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) Logo and Tagline in the communication and advocacy plan under the schemes and programmes for its wider dissemination for achieving the goals and also to Incorporate of BBBP logo on the office stationery, letter heads, file folders and visiting cards for reminding everyone about the commitment of the Nation to ensure rights of the girl child. The BBBP Logo and Tagline is enclosed herewith.
